November 1, 2024
November is here, and that means wedding month for these two lovebirds! Bethany and Michael are such kind, happy souls, and I absolutely cannot wait to document their wedding day in a few weeks at First Baptist Church in downtown Charleston.
For their engagement portraits, we debated soon featuring downtown Charleston, because their wedding will be in the same area. However, if you’re familiar with Charleston, you know that A) there is no shortage of beauty for lots of variety with photos. After all, every few feet brings a new view and a new background! And B) I mean… can you ever really get enough of the gorgeousness that is historic downtown Charleston?! Personally, I cannot.
Thankfully, we had gorgeous weather (we’d actually rescheduled from a prior date due to rain!), and the sun was truly showing out! Can you saw golden hour glow?? We strolled the streets and talked about our shared love for travel and how we all landed in this lovely city. It was exactly what I love… a day that felt like hanging out with old friends.
For our second location, Bethany and Michael chose to drive out to the beach on Sullivan’s Island, because the beach is so special to them, and it did not disappoint! We had a beautiful sunset with views of the Ravenel Bridge in the background, seagrass dancing in the wind, and skies that looked as if they’d been painted with a brush- just an absolutely perfect evening and way to end the day with two of the happiest, most relaxed, laid-back people…. pure bliss.
Bethany and I met up just this past week for her bridal portraits at Middleton Place, and y’all… these next 3 weeks can’t pass fast enough, because I cannot wait to share those, too!! Ahh!
November 23rd, we’re coming for you! 🙂
