Cecilia + Robbie – Katie Hearn Oaks Wedding – Leroy, AL

Can you guys do me a favor? Can we pretend like today is Wednesday, so this can be #WeddingWednesday? It’s time to show off Cecilia and Robbie and their Katie Hearn Oaks wedding!

If you follow me over on Instagram, you’ve seen me talk about this beauty. Meeting Cecilia was somehow like meeting a friend I’d known forever. Our first phone conversation was well over an hour long, we hung around after their engagement session so long that even Robbie left us to chat, and when I walked in on wedding day, I felt like I was walking into the room for an old friend.

Together, she and Robbie are calm, cool, and collected and feel like a couple who has been married for many, many years, and I find that so admirable. They’re interactions are natural and comfortable. Their relationship is a deeply rooted friendship.

During our first phone call, she told me she had already purchased her wedding dress at Bridals by Lori in Atlanta, and I was ecstatic! Not only was here dress beautiful, but y’all… THAT VEIL! So perfect. Cecilia rocked her bridal look.

Thankfully the rain held off, and we were able to make the best of a somewhat dreary day at Katie Hearn Oaks. We hopped across the road to Pine Grove United Methodist Church where the ceremony was held to do a first look with Cecilia’s dad and with Robbie. Make sure you check out Mr. Caldwell’s reaction… SO SWEET! Cecilia just kept repeating, “Just think of this as me dressed up for a pageant.” Sorry, girl, there was no stopping that emotion! 😉

The bride and groom rode away from the ceremony in Robbie’s truck that means so much to them and entered the reception back at Katie Hearn Oaks to the tunes of our friends – Sunny Vaiden! I rarely get to catch those guys playing these days, so it was fun to listen to some awesome music while capturing the party!
