Happy Wedding Wednesday, my friends! Today is all about Cheyanne and Scottie!
Quite frankly, Cheyanne is my meme dealer. Ha! I can always guarantee her Facebook is going to keep me rolling laughing!
Though we both grew up in the same area in Alabama, I never knew Cheyanne until she was a bridesmaid in my sweet bride, Abbie’s, wedding. We became friends on social media prior to Abbie’s wedding, and by the time the wedding day rolled around, we felt like soul sisters. We have eerily similar humor and share many common interests. So when Scottie proposed, she reached out asking ME for dates to have her wedding! Yes, she planned her wedding date around my availability, which is simultaneously the most humbling and rewarding thing to me.
Back in the spring, when we met up for their engagement session, I found out Scottie pretty much knew my entire family! Welcome to small town Alabama, y’all!
So when their wedding day arrived earlier this month, it was like hanging out with old friends. (PS – I know I say that a lot, but it’s true! I love getting to know and befriend my couples so much!!)
And if you’re not from the area and don’t understand how “everybody knows everybody,” well, it’s true. My dear talented friend, Whitney Norris, (and her precious mom!) designed and executed Cheyanne’s florals. I once went on a trip to Disney World with the church’s wedding coordinator whose daughter was also Cheyanne’s bridesmaid and makeup artist. The beautician that prepped the girls for the day was my former beautician when I lived in town. So, how did I not know Cheyanne before now? I have no clue!
Cheyanne and Scottie were surrounded by their closest family and friends as they promised to love each other for eternity. We spent the reception time capturing as many of those individuals as we could and creating lasting memories to have from their day.
I hope you enjoy!
You captured every moment in its absolute beauty 😍😍😍
