Spring is in full swing in the Lowcountry, and though I’m not eager for the temperature of summer, the blooms of early spring are just the first signs of what is to come in the summer- most specifically the crepe myrtles that really make downtown Charleston come alive.
And because I’m never timely with blog posts (something I’m trying desperately to be better about), it is long past time that I share Haviland and Edward’s summer engagement session from last year with y’all!
We started our time together at the gorgeous Hampton Park where we strolled about the lush pathways, stopped by the iconic gazebo, and took in the beauty of the park while I learned more about the two of them and their love story. Our next stop was to roam the streets of downtown Charleston, admiring the blooms and other charms that make our great city such a draw for couples like Haviland and Edward who travel to the Lowcountry for destination weddings.
Though they live in Charlotte, they will bring a host of family and friends to Charleston in June for their wedding at Legare-Waring House, and I absolutely cannot wait. It is sure to be a stunning day with Sweet Peach Planning and the vendor team they have assembled to make Haviland and Edward’s dreams come true!
