I’m finally getting around to recapping my summer sunflower mini sessions and sharing them here with you!
It has been a busy summer thus far, for sure. I thought my spring was going to be the busy part of my year, but I think that was just the start!
As I welcomed 2018, I deemed it “The Year of the Hustle.” I knew this year was the year I would put forth real effort into turning a passion of mine into a full time business. Since I also work a full time “9-5” job, having a full time business can make life a wee bit crazy. I spend 40 hours a week sitting at a desk, so that I can spend almost that much time shooting, editing, and building a business in my spare time. Ha! (What is spare time even?)
So, this summer, having gone to the sunflower festival for the last few years, I knew I wanted to play around in the fields for a few sessions, but I was working with limited time. I only opened a few spots, and now I wish I would have opened more! We had so much fun even if we did almost melt in the heat, and I love how the sessions turned out. Now, I’m just as excited to have them bloom next year, because I know what will be waiting on me.
Until then, I’m wondering…. what next? I love outdoor sessions that involved patches or fields… I think I’ve waited too late for blueberry sessions. Cotton season will be here before you know it… Who’s up for that? Let me hear it! Drop a comment below or send me a message on Facebook or Instagram.
