Can we just talk about the fact that this is my third blog post in a row this week?! This is what forced time at home will get ya (me)….. productivity! Haha!
Today’s post showcases a darling family that I was blessed to spend some time with while on my tour of south Alabama a few weeks ago. I met up with the Faircloth family on the campus of Spring Hill College for an early morning portrait session to commemorate their adorable family, celebrate Whitney’s birthday, and capture a little bit of early spring beauty!
I’ve known William since the high school (maybe even middle school?) days and as a part of living in a rural area, I’ve at least known of Whitney just as long. As we went through college, William actually worked for my mother in the college bookstore and the two became close. I’m certain she thought of William as another of her children just like many others that came through those doors.
William and Whitney have come to mean even more to me in these past couple of years, though, as they were so sweet to check in on how my mom was doing while she was sick and even took their precious time to visit and pray with and over her in her last days. That’s a trait and an act of love that you don’t see out of just everyone, you know? Especially young, busy active families who have so many other things to be doing and people to be seeing. So, for me, that was a very meaningful and selfless act that will never go unnoticed.
But in an effort to not dampen the mood of how fresh, bright, and joyful these images are this session was, I present to you…. the Faircloth family!
Enjoy!
