Hello, again, my friends!
Today’s post comes to you served with a whooollleeee LOT of southern sweetness.
Like many of the other families I’ve photographed, I’ve known Kayla for most of my life. When she was in college, she worked for my mom. Since the first day I met her, I’ve thought she was absolutely perfect. She has always been not only drop dead gorgeous, but just as sweet as they come. Her taste in personal appearance, fashion, and home decor can be described as nothing short of perfection in my book.
A few months ago, Kayla reached out to me saying she would like photos of her two daughters in their Easter dresses. As we all know, little girls quickly grow up and there comes a point where antique lace just isn’t their thing anymore. Kayla’s oldest daughter, Halli, has reached that age. So, in an attempt to capture her last moments of southern little girlhood, we spent a Sunday morning out in the yard of a friend to capture the loveliness that is LaJenn’s Heirloom dresses and angelic sweetness.
It was a beautiful spring morning in south Alabama with the sun rays streaming through pecan trees by a field where horses lingered. The girls spent the morning prancing about barefoot, and Kayla and I had a chance to catch up and discuss our love of all things decorating. In fact, I added a couple of pictures down below of the inside of their new home, because I was just so obsessed I couldn’t help myself. Ha!
I hope you enjoy!
