Hello, there, friends!
In the midst of all that is crazy in the world right now, I come bearing beauty, positivity, and love! 🙂
Let me introduce you to Ryan and Foster.
Ryan and Foster are quickly approaching their May wedding here in Shreveport at the Cathedral of St. John Berchmans, so we have lots of wedding to-do’s to check off our list! We started that off with their engagement session last week at the home of a family friend of Ryan’s. Not only were we able to peruse the property laughing and giggling and getting to know each other, but Ryan and Foster were back there later in the evening for their engagement party! See, I told you, all kinds of wedding to-d’s to get done!
Now, even though Foster is a graduate of the University of Alabama, I won’t hold that against him TOO much, because he loves his beautiful bride to be so very well. Foster and I have south Alabama roots in common, so I’ll let his Mobile roots give him a pass for all the “Roll Tides” he may exclaim. (Can y’all believe I even typed those two words?!)
As for Ryan, she’s an effortless beauty who has a heart for her fellow people. She just finished up her degree in social work down in Baton Rouge and currently works in a prison! How interesting is that?! I had to refrain from asking a million questions about that, because I’ve watched one too many episodes of Locked Up and just have so many inquiries about what daily life must be like. Since it was our first meeting, I figured I’d save the heavy hitting questions for you know… her bridal portrait session or something. Ha!
Ryan and Foster are not only in the works of planning a wedding, but also a move to New Orleans. And boy, do I know what that feels like! Remember, Seth and I moved 6 hours away to a city where we knew NO ONE within 2 weeks of our wedding. With lots of roots in south Louisiana, I think these two will have a smooth transition to The Big Easy and be enjoying all the city has to offer as forever newlyweds in no time.
So, while you may be stuck at home with little to do, I provide you with a little peak into their engagement session… ENJOY!
